We met in a beginning level photography class and over the course of a few years, we watched each others photography & photography businesses blossom.

During a conversation one day of us each having had an exhausting wedding season, almost simultaneously a light went off in both of our heads and it was then that we proposed the idea of working together for weddings.

We are beyond excited to start in this new journey and capturing the single most love filled day that two people can possibly have.

Becoming a photographer wasn’t originally in the mix for me. Other then my little digital camera and fascination with a darkroom, I didn’t think twice about choosing that as my profession. I was set on becoming a hotshot lawyer so I enrolled as a pre-law student at North Central College.

Well that plan didn’t quite work out. I moved home, enrolled at community college and was going through my classes in a daze. I was incredibly unhappy, lost and just didn’t know where to go from there.

I eventually moved to Marquette on recommendation of family & enrolled at Northern Michigan University. I enrolled in my first photography class the 2nd year and fell in love. (This is where Kaley & I met for the first time) When I started doing my own freelance I was hooked. The emotions and reactions that come once the clients see their finished product is the most incredible feeling. It’s nearly unexplainable.

So now, here I am, a graduated NMU alumni with her BFA in Photography & living the dream of capturing people’s memories. I couldn’t ask for more.

I've always loved to tell stories. I excelled in creative writing as a young girl and combining that with my love for children, I planned to be a teacher.

Plans don't always work out.

My mind changed several times growing up and through out college and so did my life.

We welcomed our first amazing daughter in 2006 and when the time came to start up classes again, I added a photography class to my schedule since I had become obsessed with taking pictures of my new little bundle of love and because I thought it would be a refreshing change to add into my mix of boring lecture hall courses.

After taking my first photography class, I began seeing the world entirely differently. I would create a frame in my mind around the beautiful moments & sites that I would see. I began to see what really makes us beautiful is our unique personalities and quirks and I wanted to capture those moments, not the forced, fake, "say cheese and be perfectly still" pictures." It was then that I began this journey.

After a couple years of photographing my family & friends during their special moments, I began to venture out into doing it for others as well while I grew as an artist and person and began establishing a good client base. From there, I finally knew that I had found what I was meant to do on this Earth.

I would be a story teller. A story teller with a camera capturing your special moments & emotions. Your life & love.
